Pig Business / Technical Manager

Trouw Nutrition GB is a Nutreco company based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, and manufactures a range of nutritional products for use in both the agricultural animal feed and pet food industries.

We require an experienced pig nutritionist looking to take the next step in their career or move into a wider role involving commercial responsibilities.

Responsible to the Technical Director, this role involves managing the technical and commercial aspects of our pig business.

This technical function requires ongoing support of key customers through nutritional solutions and application of research. Close interface with Trouw R&D (in Netherlands and Canada) and Global Marketing will facilitate the introduction of innovative and effective developments in nutrition, tools and services to benefit pig producers serviced through our business to business customer base. All aspects of commercial management of these accounts is also within the scope of this role.

You will work in conjunction with the technical and commercial departments based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire and, in addition will support colleagues in all departments to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our pig business.

Applicants should be educated to degree level, have experience in pig nutrition and have a desire to make a difference within the company, our customers and through to farm.
